Toolroom HQ Writing Camp – With Flashmob

Fancy a day of writing at Toolroom HQ with Flashmob? Now's your chance... Flashmob has launched an exciting production competition in unison with his exclusive course with Toolroom Academy.

Alessandro Magani, also know as Flashmob is a leading figure in the global dance music scene and is bringing his expertise to the Toolroom Academy with an a day at Toolroom HQ in light of his recent exclusive course release and upcoming Album Sundown.

Known for his deep understanding of both past and future sounds, Flashmob has crafted a program that covers every aspect of creating club-ready tracks. This course dives into the creative process, offering practical tips to generate ideas and develop them into full-fledged tracks. You’ll learn Flashmob’s signature techniques for fusing various genres and building industry relationships to get your music heard by key A&Rs.

Over a comprehensive 3 1/2-hour journey, Flashmob will guide you through everything from initial brainstorming to his final mixing stage. The course is designed for both beginners and veterans, covering topics such as using software synths, crafting unique grooves, and developing a sound that moves entire clubs. Flashmob also shares insights into building a successful career in the music industry, making this course a must for any aspiring producer looking to make a mark in the world of dance music.

In addition to Flashmob’s brand new course – he is hosting a competition in collaboration with Toolroom Academy for 4 producers to be in with the chances of spending a day with Flashmob at the Headquarters of Toolroom.

HOW DO I ENTER? 🤔

Step 1 – Purchase Flashmob’s new on-demand programme via the Toolroom Academy website.

Step 2 – Create an original 48-bar track idea (this is not a Remix Competition). This idea must be your groove, break, and main drop. In other words, the climax of the track.

Step 3 – Send your submission to cal@toolroomacademy.com as a private Soundcloud link with downloads enabled.

JUDGING 💭

Submissions will be judged on the producers creativity, as well as the production skills utilised throughout the idea.

The deadline for the submissions is the 11th of October.
