This is where we get deep and start looking at all of the melodic content that you might find in a minimal house track. Starting from creating interesting, glitchy chord stabs to random arpeggios to question and answer style riffs.
This is a particular genre of main room driving Tech House, which D.Ramirez has coined 'Toolroom Techno'. It’s not quite Techno but it’s certainly more driving than your typical Tech House track. In this series of videos, he will be showing you the techniques to create your compelling incessant driving stab riff, with a twist.
During this chapter, Dean will be diving deep into the methods used to create the genre of Disco House. He will highlight how to find Disco samples and incorporate them seamlessly into your track giving you that iconic Disco House sound.
Progressive House is a genre filled with atmospheric pads, rich basses and synths that create a landscape like no other. Throughout these next lessons Dean will be covering all the methods used to create the melodic sounds within Progressive House
This chapter is based around the Euphoric sounds of Piano House. A genre prominent within the sounds of Toolroom, Dean will be highlighting how to create those iconic Piano House sounds we hear in so many classics throughout the genre.
The final chapter in this course covers the genre of Classic House where Dean will be incorporating methods such as resampling, filtered loops and writing Classic House-style basslines.
