Maybe not Individual modules, but just the whole emphasis on sound choice.

I was a bit all over the place with my sound and artistic identity. So, I thought I’d give the Toolroom course a go in, in the hopes it would help with those two things, which it 1,000,000% did.

It’s now so obvious how important Sound choice is. That for me, that’s probably been the biggest takeaway of all of it

It was the structure, the amount of time that’s gone into really considering the step-by-step approach and then translate that somehow into lessons in a really efficient way.

Just one more that stood out actually was the arrangement lessons because I think in the past I had a tendency to throw an arrangement together and say, yeah, that sounds okay and then leave it. But actually, that’s why I really liked Ben and Pete, they were pushing me and pushing me, particularly on the second break down and drop.

That was where I spent the longest amount of time in the last few weeks. And they just kept pushing me just to get another 10%, another 5%, another 10% out of the record, which has also really stuck with me. Don’t just think it’s finished. Go away. Give yourself a break. Go back and try and push a little bit more to make the track even better.
